The Redmi Note 7, which had been announced before the Xiaomi Mi 9, is the first smartphone with a 48 MP camera after all. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 inside of the Note 7 is a mid-range SoC.
I have Xiaomi A2, had A1. Both midrange - both WITHOUT NFC. My sister has (2019) Redmi note 7 = also midrange, also no NFC. All those are popular and good mid-rangers but sadly, no NFC. PS. I'm not looking to buy a new NFC-based Xiaomi. Just trying to understand why - if that chip costs $1 to manufacture and is small - it isn't being used more?
