Jtowers123 submitted a new vehicle: My first car! This is my first car! It's a Fiat Punto Grande Sporting 1.4 16V! I'm 17- nearly 18, so I would like to know some advice on how to make it look nicer, make it faster and increase the whole performance! Any tips and advice would be fantastic
Re: Fiat Grande Punto 1.9 Multijet although some contenders are newest, the Punto is still looking very good. I'm just asking why Autocar tested the 1.9 multijet instead of the 1.3 or the good 1.4
Last week got a chance to drive the Punto Emotion Pack 1.4L Petrol. Had a nice long TD of more than 20kms to get a good feel of the car. Most of the points have been covered so I'll post my observations. - The rear legroom is pretty cramped as everyone has mentioned but the seat width is very good allowing people to sit 3 abreast pretty easily.
Re: GRANDE PUNTO 06 needs new steering column - does it need calibrating by Fiat deal just to respond to my own message, I phoned yet another garage, and he said that because it was a steering column, then an actual fiat part would be needed, and since thats the bulk of the cost he couldnt imagine it being significantly cheaper elsewhere anyway.
Re: My first Car - Fiat Grande Punto 90 HP. If you have planned for speaker upgrade and touch up etc, go for Interior & exterior detailing post these activities. You could place any 6.5 inch components @ front and 6 inch co-axials at rear based on your listening and budget preference. Also get a good set of floor mats. Due to the state of the local roads (not good) I was thinking about swapping my car's front suspension (2008 fiat grande punto) with some suspension springs from a similar age punto in the hope that it will make the ride a bit softer. 1moE.
