So already €550 down and nothing to show for it. Got the DPF removed and remapped the car from 105bhp to 140bhp. €400 and haven’t had any issues since. Passed two NCT’s as well. Alternative would have been a new DPF for around €2000 which probably would have been blocked again by now. According to the folks at Calibrated Power, “If you take a late-model Cummins that has been deleted and tuned and pit it against a non-deleted and tuned Cummins, the numbers are extremely similar. Many people believe that the exhaust flow restriction caused by the DPF filter is robbing them of power. Anytime you tamper (not repair) your machine you can kiss your warranty and trade-in goodbye. Dealers won’t risk their reputation on a deleted or tuned machine come trade-in time. Not to mention your warranty will be void. Forget calling about anything that fails on that machine. You’re not held hostage to going to a dealer for repairs
revangef. • 4 yr. ago. Take a piece of cloth and put it on ur exhaust pipe and get someone to rev the engine if its pure black then there is no dpf, if dpf is healthy and the car has like 50k miles on the clock you could stick your finger in the exhaust pipe and it should be clean

The DPF will continue to fill with soot till it plugs up complete and the truck quits running since there is no place for exhausted gases to exit. With the DPF delete tune in place the additional fuel injected is not done.
If you are caught with a deleted truck, you will be charged with a fine in most countries. Different countries have different kinds of rules, but most countries charge a fine as a punishment. And the amount depends on a few factors. If a big corporation is caught with deleted trucks, they are charged with big amounts, ranging up to $45,268.
