34. Belgian Laekenois. Here comes yet another well-known shepherd canine that was developed in Belgium, the land of the best shepherd dog breeds (as seems to be the case). This type of canine breed resembles both the Belgian Tervuren and Belgian Malinois breeds when it comes to their looks.
The Koolie (also known as the Australian Koolie or by the historic misnomer "German Coolie") is an Australian dog breed. The Koolie is a working or herding dog which has existed in Australia since the early 19th century when it was bred from imported British working dogs. Robert Kaleski, in an article on Cattle Dogs in the August 1903 issue of Blue Heeler is a pretty descriptive name for the Australian Cattle Dog, thanks to his unique blue coat. They can either be solid blue, blue-speckled, or blue-mottled around the back, the head, and the exterior of the limbs. Also, some have tan or black markings around the head or the inside of the limbs. Border Collies are just a smidge shorter than Aussies at 18 to 21 inches tall for females and up to 22 inches for males.
