The iPhone 7 series of devices have proven to be very unreliable, suffering from flex-based issues similar to the iPhone 6 Plus (Touch Disease). On the iPhone 7, the fault line runs along the top of the SIM card reader and affects the Baseband CPU and Audio IC.
iPhone 7 Plus that showed classic signs of audio IC issue and in this case, was boot looping. Removed audio IC and found C12 loose. Ran 4 jumpers and installed new IC, phone now boots fine but I've lost vibrator motor function. Checked for any obvious issues around audio IC and on the other side of the board.
